GCC Students Weekly Update
A place where students own their faith, connect with God and fellowship with one another.
Georgetown Christian Student Ministry exists so students can grow and engage their beliefs alongside friends and leaders who care. It’s not just about the events, the hangouts, and fun (although we love all that here)—it’s about getting equipped and empowered for real life by owning your faith and connecting with God and each other. We’d love to see you here! We exist to turn everyday students into fully developled followers of Jesus Christ.
SUNDAY MORNING ELECTIVE @ 9:30AM
Middle & High School Students (5th-12th)
Meets upstairs in The Warehouse
During Sunday Morning Elective, we focus on getting to know our bible. A couple of years ago, we went into the Torah (the first five books of the bible). We took a year in the Gospel of John. We studied the Old Testament and are read through Joshua and Judges. Currently, we are reading through Acts and each letter in the New Testament as he is writing them. It's so important that we see the foundations that are built in the the bible. We start out each Sunday morning with some breakfast, some fellowship, and then move into small groups of middle school and high school. These small groups allow time to read the scripture and apply it to their individual lives.
SUNDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP @ 6:00-8:00PM
Middle & High School Students (5th-12th)
Meets in the Gym
Sunday nights are a time for students to interact with other students and learn more about their faith. Big games, big worship, and a big message to impact their lives as they strive to impact those around them. At the start of each meeting for games, food, fellowship and worship, we all gather together. After the lesson, we separate into small groups of middle school and high school for deeper topics. Sunday Night Fellowship does not meet in the summer time due to camps and conferences that students are attending.
GCC Students Bible Study
Thursday Night at Tommy Hobb's House from 7:30-8:30 the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. This is a time where students from 8th grade through high school get to know each other through prayer, devotion, and a good meal. This is usually a book study or video study in order to dive deeper into their faith.

Each morning, students have a devotional before leaving for a local mission. While on an unknown destination mission (who knows, maybe the city dump), students eat a sack lunch and then go to an another unknown destination for some fun and fellowship. They might go to a water park or to Holiday World.
Summer Nights
Summer Nights happen every Sunday in August from 6:00-8:00. Swim parties, Nerf wars, movie nights, etc. It's an opportunity to simply laugh and have fellowship with one another as we get back to the school life. It's our annual "Back to School" party, but we have it for four weeks.
