Frequently-Asked Questions

What's here for my family?

For more specifics, check the “Get Involved” tab on the main menu!

FOR KIDS (BIRTH-5TH GRADE)

We have Sunday morning programs geared directly to your kids’ age. Throughout the year, we have fun stuff like Vacation Bible School (VBS) and special events tailored for young families.

FOR STUDENTS  (6TH-12TH GRADE)

We have Sunday morning and Sunday night programming for students all the way through high school. There are awesome outings and camps like CIY where middle or high schoolers can engage with God and other students their age.

FOR PARENTS

We have groups, serving opportunities, and events for every age and stage of family to get involved.

What should I wear for church?

Wear whatever is normal and comfortable for you! Jeans and t-shirt. Polo and khakis. Dress or dress shirt. You’ll see it all on Sunday—God cares more about your heart than your clothing style.

Are both services the same?

Both services are identical, so you can come to the one that suits your family best and not miss anything. We do use mostly contemporary music during worship but try to incorporate traditional hymns on a regular basis.

What kind of church is this?

We are an independent non-denominational, Christian church. That means we don’t report to or fund a larger governing body. Our elders oversee our church’s teaching and direction, and our ministers and staff lead the day-to-day operations.

We work hard to simply remain faithful to what the Bible teaches without adding rules and requirements to follow Jesus that aren’t found in Scripture.

We identify with other independent Christian churches in the Restoration movement, which started back in the 1800’s. Here’s the gist of the movement: “In essentials [beliefs and teaching], unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, love.”

What do you believe?

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who created everything. We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired work for all of humanity. We believe that the Bible teaches us everything we need to know about Jesus, sin, salvation, truth, love, the church, its leadership, and the reality of what’s to come based on how we respond to its truth.

Is your church handicap accessible?

Yes! We have handicap parking available outside both sets of doors, seating throughout our worship center to accommodate wheelchairs, and ADA compliant bathrooms, doors, and halls.
