Meal Packing with Lifeline Christian Mission – Will you help?

Last March a dozen GCCers packed meals with Syrian Christian Church and later in the summer, one of the DUBS events was meal packing.  The events were organized by Lifeline Christian Ministries.  Everyone involved had a great time and were eager to do more!

So, on February 25 the GCC family will again partner with Lifeline Christian Ministries to pack 14,000 meals to be sent abroad for those in need.  Details for the packing itself will be forthcoming and everyone will be welcome.  However, what we need right now are donations to pay for the materials.  Our goal is $4,500, enough for 14,256 meals.  If you do the math, you can see that’s about 31 cents a meal.  It’s hard to get that much bang for your buck anymore.  COOKED Beans and Rice to share.
