School Supplies and Hygiene Products Needed
The 3rd-5th grade Sunday school class is on a MISSION!
We are collecting school supplies for children in our area. This time of year is full of new experiences for children: new schools, new teachers, new friends, new backpacks, new crayons, new gluesticks, etc. The kids at GCC wanted to ask the congregation to join them in collecting donations of school supplies, to help ease the burden some families in our community face with the expenses of the new school year.
In addition, the class is also collecting hygiene products for the children at Providence House. Many of GCC’s kids attend school with the children currently living at Providence House, and we want to sow seeds with them. The Providence House always has a need for hygiene products for their children. For example: brushes, combs, bodywash, shampoo, deodorant, scrunchies, etc.
Our Sunday school class is aware of the many missions and various community outreach activities GCC provides. We hope the congregation will support our mission too, as we learn how we can ultimately serve Him!
